Kansas Wesleyan men’s soccer got their first home win last Wednesday, September 11th over Hastings College the game ended 2-1. With the win, the Coyotes are now 2-2. Junior, Lewis Potter-Scarbrough and sophomore, Noel Zimbeva were asked how they felt after the first home game win, what they think the team did well in the game, and what the team looks forward to this season. Scarbrough expressed the “unbelievable feeling knowing all the work that got put into training had paid off”. Scarbrough believed the team defended well as they only allowed 1 goal.

Noel mentioned how intense the game was and how they could keep calm through the competitiveness. Scarbrough and Zimbeva both mentioned that they look forward to being, “KCAC champions this season”. Coming off a 13-5-2 season last year and making it to the KCAC semifinals the Coytotes look to go all the way this season and accomplish that goal of winning the KCAC championship.
