The Next Stars (Podcast Producers)

Here at Kansas Wesleyan University we have many options here on campus for students to express their creativity and stardom. We see this in the radio station in the Sams Hall building and even the new addition of News desk. We also see the addition of the podcast studio that is in the Sams Hall building as well. 

The beauty of this setup that is available for students with the right training is they get to express their ideas to the whole world. Students can talk about sports, crime, weather, ,movies, and so so so so much more. Everyone wants to be the next Joe Rogan and now you have the opportunity to make that dream come true. There are four mics that are set up in the room so you can invite friends to come join you. Students can also through the Rodecaster connect with friends and family back home to join your podcast as well.

We asked podcast producer Jacob Fallon on what his ideas of the podcast setup here on campus and why he thinks it’s beneficial. He states, “Its sort of a way for me to improve my skills and also express my value in my content.” (Fallon) Jacob’s Podcast is available on the webpage where he talks about the sports world and much other. 

The Podcast room is here for the improvement in students media work and also gives them the option to be the next Joe Rogan and have the availability to express their content to the world!
