Paul Green

If this photo were any more pretentious, he’d actually be smoking a French cigarette and have his mustache waxed.

Paul Green is the Manager of KKWU Radio, Advisor to KWU Student Media, and a Lecturer in Communication Studies and Theatre Arts at Kansas Wesleyan. But, he wasn’t always this awesome. Before he began his career as a college educator, Paul worked as a reporter, editor, anchor, and disc jockey at radio stations, newspapers, and television stations across the country.

He is owned currently by five different cats, one daughter and a wife. His hobbies include drone and submersible ROV piloting, video gaming (mostly on the Nintendo Switch), photography and reading an alarming amount of books for fun. He also cooks and has several opinions about the culinary arts which amount to hills he is happy to die rather loudly upon.

He is a lifelong fan of the music of Tom Petty, Tom Waits, Cheap Trick, the Foo Fighters, and a list of other more obscure and older musicians that you’ve probably never heard. His wife is a blues singer, musician, artist and pool shark. His daughter raises chickens in her spare time, when she’s not keeping her dual black belt skills in Karate and Aikido sharp.

Philosophically, if he were any more of a fan of Diogenes of Synope, he’d keep a lantern lit in his office – but the school administration frowns on open flames in workplaces, so he makes do with a flashlight.

Other than that, he’s just this guy, you know?
