From the start, the KWU team looked sharp and confident. Their serves were strong, and their teamwork stood out, as players worked together to set up key plays. The second set saw KWU take control early, building up a lead that kept the pressure on Oklahoma. KWU’s defense was also solid, with the players digging up tough hits and blocking Oklahoma’s attacks.
Oklahoma tried to fight back, especially toward the middle of the set when they managed to get a few points in a row. However, KWU didn’t let that shake them. The team stayed focused and kept making smart plays, finding gaps in Oklahoma’s defense to keep scoring. Their ability to stay calm under pressure was a big factor in their success.
One of the standout aspects of KWU’s play was their serve. The serves constantly put Oklahoma in difficult situations, making it hard for them to set up their own attacks. At the same time, KWU was able to capitalize on Oklahoma’s mistakes. The team’s performance was a great example of how important it is to stay consistent and work together. Even when Oklahoma seemed to be gaining momentum, KWU responded with smart plays and strong teamwork.
The home crowd in Mabee Arena was a big part of the win, cheering the team on and creating an exciting environment.
