KWU Women’s Volleyball Last Home Game

Wednesday, November 6th, saw the Coyotes winning their last home game against York University with a sweep. The set totals being (25-15, 25-17, 25-19).

Gianna Adriaanse, a sophomore who has been playing well and leading the Coyotes all year, had another good kill performance putting up 13 kills with junior Kylee Harris following with 11 kills.

The Coyotes are now 17-11 (7-5 in conference) as they go on the road for their last regular season game against Evangel University before beginning the KCAC Women’s Volleyball Tournament. Finishing the season 6-4 at home the Coyotes will begin their tournament run on the road against McPherson College Tuesday, November 12th at 7:00 PM.

Adriaanse mentioned when asked how the regular season went that she felt like, “the team has learned a lot through highs and lows and I think we are ready to play our best in the tournament”. Harris followed with “We are very capable of going all the way and making it to the national tournament”. The team is confident and look forward to making a run at the NAIA National Tournament this year after winning out in the KCAC Tournament.
