Written by on December 16, 2024

Senior Alex Littlejohn broke the Kansas Wesleyan field goals made record last Wednesday, December 11th against York University. The record stood for 70 years held by Gary Casell’s 566 set in 1955. Littlejohn had another double double night which has became the norm for him in his career. Scoring 20 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. He is currently averaging 17.4 points and 11.4 rebounds per game.

As he is the Coyotes team captain and has been their leader on offensive throughout the year. Littlejohn is also on pace to break some more records as it is possible for him to lead Kansas Wesleyan in made points and most rebounds.

When asked how he felt about his achievement he stated, “It’s nice and all being able able to accomplish those things, but our main focus is making it to the national tournament four straight years and winning more games again”. The Coyotes are now 7-5 overall and 2-4 in conference after the amazing night against York University. Check out more about that story here.
