AFK Podcast EP 2: Is Overwatch back?
Aiden Quill February 14, 2025
WE LIKE GAMES…
…and I’m sure you do too.
In this podcast we take a deep dive into some of the most popular games. We examine what we like about them and talk about the impact they have had on the wider community. We also discuss what makes these games so fun. To make a long story short we’re gamers and if we are not playing games we’re talking about them.
Moreover each episode talks about a new game that both me and my guest have played with nothing being off the table. From new games that have taken the internet by storm like Marvel Rivals to older titles that have defined gaming for generations like Halo. We make sure to give every game a fair chance. In this Podcast we express our gratitude for these incredible works of art.
IN THIS EPISODE…
…We are joined by a Flex player on the Overwatch team here at KWU, Reina Dinges, who talks about their experience with Overwatch 2. We also discuss the impact the game has on players and the struggles it faces with maintaining its player base. Furthermore we discuss how the game has changed in recent years and how it has adapted to growing competition.
IN UPCOMING EPISODES…
…In the future, we will discuss other games’ impact on culture and how that impact has changed over the years such as Halo, As well as games that struggle to adapt to the current climate of gaming like Overwatch 2. And because we’re not insane we also talk about Mario. We also discuss the importance of these games and how they have shaped us as players. When we say nothing is off the table we mean it.
